We always talk about our favorite main heroes from Stranger Things, but often, the supporting characters who add excitement, humor, and flair to the show. Here are five supporting characters we need to see in Stranger Things season 4!

Stranger Things just keeps raising the bar with each new episode and season released! While the stories, environments, and conflicts add so much excitement to the beloved Netflix original, it’s the characters who help bring the show to life. They’re a huge reason why so many fans, including myself, fell in love with the show in the first place!

We could go on and on about our favorite Hawkins heroes like Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Hopper (David Harbour), and of course, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), but what about those supporting characters who were often the comic relief or sources of important information for the story?

Some good news is that many of our unsung heroes from Stranger Thingsare getting much bigger expanded roles heading into Stranger Things 4, being upped to series regulars! These characters include Scoops Troop investigator Robin (Maya Hawke), Lucas’ sassy sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) and “matchmaker” journalist Murray Bauman (Brett Gelman).

That being said, some of our favorite supporting characters’ fates are are unknown, and we really hope to see them come back for Stranger Things 4!

While Stranger Things 3 was bigger than anything we’ve seen before in Hawkins, Stranger Things 4 is looking to be even bigger and present much higher stakes on a major scale. In fact, one of the show’s stars, Joe Keery, shared that season 4 will be “the scariest season yet”.

With the news of Hopper being alive out there, hints of more Russian experimentation, the Byers and Eleven moving to an undisclosed location, and promises of a much bigger, intimidating monster or threat Stranger Things 4 is going to be huge, and these five supporting characters need to be there to see it.
