It’s a relatively quiet week when it comes to Netflix movies, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something good to watch. Here are five top picks this weekend, May 9-10.

Whether you want action or comedy, there’s something to interest you on Netflix this weekend. Here are five good Netflix movies to watch from May 9 to 10.

As usual, the list is made up of movies from different genres. The majority of them are new to Netflix, either new this month or new Netflix original movies. There is one that is leaving the streamer next week, so this is your last chance to watch it.

5. Limitless

When it comes to Netflix movies leaving the streamer, it’s all about Limitless. The 2011 movie stars Bradley Cooper and Anna Friel. Cooper plays Eddie, who decides to take a drug that will give him a razor-sharp mind. He manages to find success in the stock market, but there are a few negative elements to the drug.

It’s a brilliant sci-fi thriller. If you love The Illusionist, you’ll adore Limitless.

4. The House at the End of the Street

Now it’s time for a Jennifer Lawrence movie. The House at the End of the Street is one of the horror fans, focusing on a teenager and her mother who move to a small town. They end up in the house of an accident, and the teen befriends the only survivor of that accident. The question is whether it was an accident after all.

SEAL Team fans will want to check out the movie for Max Theriot in a vastly different role to the one he plays in the series. There’s an excellent twist at the end that you won’t see coming.

3. Sleepless

The next of the Netflix movies is one starring Jamie Foxx. Sleepess sees him play Vincent, a cop whose son is kidnapped out of revenge. Now Vincent needs to do everything he can to rescue his son. Yes, he is willing to break the law to do it.

Fans of Taken and other similar movies will want to check this one out. It’s not too heavy.

2. Hangman

Another good movie from 2017 is Hangman, starring Al Pacino and Karl Urban. Pacino plays a criminal profiler who is on the case of a serial killer. All the crimes have been inspired by “Hangman,” the game. Are there enough clues along the way to catch the guy?

Yes, the movie was a flop with critics and audiences, but it really does depend on what you want from your movie night this weekend. For those who want a cheesy crime thriller, this is for you.

1. The Wrong Missy

We end with the new Netflix original movie on the streamer this weekend. The Wrong Missy stars David Spade as a man who invites a woman he meets at a bar to his work retreat. The problem is he gets the wrong email address and sends the invite to the wrong woman. Cue the hilarious storylines to come.

If you love David Spade in general, you’re going to love this movie. If you just want a light-hearted comedy, go for this movie this weekend.
