Get ready to relive the moments. Grey’s Anatomy season 16 is coming to Netflix tonight. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare.

Are you ready to relive the excitement, the heartbreak, and some of the most frustrating moments on the show? Grey’s Anatomy season 16 is heading to Netflix tonight. You don’t want to miss a beat.

Those on the east coast will be able to start watching the series from 3:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 9. If you’re on the west coast, you’ll get it shortly after midnight. Awesome, right?

But what can you expect from the season? Chances are that you watched it live on ABC each week or you may have caught it the next day on Hulu. Whichever way you watched, you’ll have lived out the storylines already. This is a chance to go back and look at what you missed the first time.

If you have been waiting for it to come to Netflix, well, we won’t spoil it here. All we will say is that it picks up off the back of the season 15 finale. During that episode, Meredith, Richard, and Karev were all fired from their jobs at Grey Sloan, and Meredith was in trouble for insurance fraud. However, DeLuca took the blame for that and we were left with him being the one behind bars.

What would happen in the season 16 premiere? I’ll leave it to you to find out when you can binge-watch the season throughout the weekend.

There is something to remind you of/warn you about. This is the last season with Alex Karev. In January 2020, fans learned that Justin Chambers chose to leave the series, leaving just three of the original characters (and one of the original interns) with the show. His exit was abrupt and for his mental health, so the exit storyline had to be crafted quickly. It’s left many debating whether it was the right choice, but you can be the judge of it when you get to the episode.

There are 21 episodes to this season. Like all other shows, production was shut down partway through due to COVID-19. The initial plan was to return to filming after two weeks to finish out the season, but the cast and crew didn’t get the chance to do that.

Grey’s Anatomy season 16 is coming to Netflix tonight, Saturday, May 9.
