Which parts of Disney’s Aladdin the cartoon were better than the live action? Watch both movies on Disney Plus now.

Disney sure does love remaking their cartoons and turning them into live action movies. And why not? So far, it’s been financially beneficial.

Dumbo was considered a flop and it made $353.3 million with a budget of $170 million. Jungle Book did so well that there will be a sequel. If the process is working, there’s no point in stopping.

Some people don’t like the idea. Critics say that it ruins the original film by changing things. Sometimes, that’s true. The Michael Bay Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies are examples of classic cartoons becoming tainted. Some of us still can’t unsee Ninja Turtles with noses. Other times, you get a better version of some of a classic. Disney’s Aladdin is a little bit of both.

Aladdin is a favorite for a plethora of people. Among them is it was more fun than the other Disney movies. Little Mermaid had it’s entertaining moments and characters, but not a lot like Aladdin. the entire cast was lighthearted. Even the main antagonists had their moments of goofiness.

The live action remake had some pretty big shoes to fill. The good news is they did a fantastic job at filling them. Let’s take a look and see how the two movies compare.
