There’s been a lot of debate over the years about whether or not more needs to be revealed about Yoda. While, in the past, George Lucas was always of the opinion that the fewer people actually know about Yoda, the better the story would be, it might be time for that to change and have Yoda become part of the Star Wars stories we want to see on Disney Plus.
Like we said before, The Mandalorian gave us a lot of things, including the absolutely adorable Baby Yoda. While it’s still not clear where the child came, outside of the mysterious pod it was inhabiting when the bounty hunter found the baby, there’s still another season that hasn’t shut the door on the possibility of discovering more about the child’s origins.
Because of the intense curiosity spurred by intense cuteness, maybe it’s finally time for Yoda to get that origins television series. It’s possible Disney is waiting until a good chunk of other Star Wars films are finished before performing a last hurrah with a Yoda series.
It wouldn’t be a surprise and it definitely would be fitting. But we aren’t sure we can wait that long. Yoda is one of the oldest and most powerful characters in the Star Wars franchise. There’s more than enough content on him to last at least a few seasons.
