Too Hot to Handle is the next salacious reality series to watch on Netflix if you liked Love is Blind or The Bachelor franchise.

Netflix didn’t just dip their toes in the reality dating TV genre, they did a cannonball off the high dive.

After the success of Love is Blind which became a pop-cultural phenomenon and riding the wave of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and all their assorted spin-offs, viewers seemingly can’t get enough of this type of content.

Enter Too Hot to Handle, the next soapy, scandalous, guilty pleasure you won’t be able to take your eyes off that will be released on Netflix on Friday, April 17.

The series is not that much different from the aforementioned dating shows, although Too Hot to Handle will have 10 contestants, and they make it perfectly clear that they are all sexually charged to put it in a safe for work context. But the catch is the 10 contestants will have to remain entirely celibate the entire time if they want to cash in on the $100,000 prize.

For every one-night stand, for every makeout session and for every self-gratification, the prize money will be reduced. So how much are you willing to make out with your fellow contestants?

The eight-episode season will likely be consumed in one sitting by loyal Netflix viewers who have nothing better to do on the weekend with everyone sheltering in place.

Here’s the official synopsis from Netflix for Too Hot to Handle:

"Ten young, hot singles from around the world come together in a tropical paradise for what they think will be the most exotic and erotic summer of their lives — but there’s a twist. These commitment-phobes who love a casual hook-up, will have to give up all hanky panky for the entire retreat if they want to win the $100,000 grand prize. No kissing, no heavy petting, and no self-gratification of any kind. With every slip, the prize money goes down. In this luxury no-bone zone, will the serial singletons be able to form deeper emotional connections? Or will the temptation simply be too hot to handle?"
