This week’s episode of How to Get Away with Murder was one of the best, but 5 moments stood above all the others. Take a look!

I don’t think I’m overstating what happened in this week’s episode of How to Get Away with Murder by saying OMG! What an episode! Not only were quite a few secrets revealed, but we got to see Annalise’s mom put Nate in his place and tell Annalise to finally fight for herself. It doesn’t get much better than that.

But there were a few moments that stood out among the others. Let’s take a look at the top 5 WTF moments in this episode.

1. Asher’s Killer

The biggest revelation and WTF moment this week was Asher’s killer finally being revealed. While Gabriel had us believing Laurel might have done the deed, he was also the one to ultimately find out the truth and tell Connor, Oliver, and Michaela. Who was it? Someone no one suspected. An FBI agent who we’ve only seen a couple of times in the whole series.

She was Asher’s point of contact with the FBI and when he called her for help, she killed him with the fire poker. She also happened to take the fire poker from Connor and Oliver’s house, so it’s clear she planned it early on. Did she do it to take down Annalise and her students or for another reason? Only time will tell.

2. Asher’s video

A video Asher made on Gabriel’s phone also came to light. Gabriel handed it over to the FBI and the FBI then sent it to Michaela who watched it with Connor and Oliver. It revealed that Asher didn’t regret turning against his friends, but that he wished they would also cut a deal with the FBI. He thinks they’ve strayed away from the people they truly are and that speaking the truth will set them free. Despite betraying them, he truly cared for his friends.

3. Annalise coming back for Bonnie

Annalise’s sudden disappearance and escape to Mexico was discussed quite a bit in this episode, especially by Bonnie who felt betrayed Annalise left her behind to pick up the pieces. But as it turned out, that’s not what happened.

Just as she was heading for the airport, Annalise had her driver turn around so she could take Bonnie with her. Unfortunately, Bonnie wasn’t at home so Annalise had no choice but to leave by herself. It would’ve been an interesting storyline to see those two escape together.

4. Annalise finding out about the deal

Over the past six seasons, we’ve seen Annalise plenty angry at a number of people, but never at the Keating 5. That changed this week when she found out Michaela and Connor took a deal and said they would testify against her.

She didn’t need Bonnie and Frank to tell her about the deal either; she  had proof when she saw all the charges the FBI was putting against her. Sam’s murder was one of the charges and the FBI could’ve never known about the specifics without Connor and Michaela’s help. Seeing Annalise use her skills against her students will be the stuff of legend. I cannot wait!

5. Catch-22 for Michaela and Connor

How Michaela and Connor get out of their deal with the FBI will definitely be interesting. Now that they know the FBI killed Asher, how can they trust that their deal will hold true or that the FBI won’t come for them after they deal with Annalise?

If they try to get out of the deal, they may face more years in prison and if they go through with it, they’ll be helping at least one of the people who killed their friend. It might be the toughest decision of their lives (and that’s saying something). Next week cannot get here soon enough!
