A Tiger King after show hosted by Joel McHale is coming to Netflix on April 12.

After Tiger King became a ratings hit and a pop-cultural phenomenon, Netflix has ordered up more big cat content, featuring several of the subjects who starred in the wild seven-part docuseries.

The Tiger King and I will be an after show hosted by Joel McHale and features new interviews with John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Eric Cowie, Rick Kirkman and Jeff and Lauren Lowe. The announcement from Netflix makes no mention of involvement of Carole Baskins or Joe Exotic, who is behind bars.

McHale who previously hosted his own self-titled Netflix series that was a mirror of his work on The Soup got dressed up as the Tiger King, with a Netflix tattoo across his abdomen to make the announcement.

If you are among the 30-plus million who watched Tiger King since it was released in March, you may be clamoring for a season 2. That announcement is still up in the air, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility just yet.

However, considering it was a big hit for viewers and dominating the conversation unlike any other TV show at the moment, Netflix will want to capitalize on this cash cow while it’s still hot.

That leads to the after show with McHale as the host.

It’s unclear how long the episode will be, but it’s likely to be similar in length to the Tiger King episodes, which were generally close to an hour. It shouldn’t be a short 20-30-minute show.

There’s also the possibility of some surprise guests who appear that weren’t listed in the announcement, so for those keeping their fingers crossed for a jailhouse interview with Joe Exotic, I guess you’ll just have to watch to find out if he makes a cameo.

The Tiger King and I will premiere on Netflix on April 12 at midnight PT.
