15. Too Hot To Handle

Season: 1

Release Date: Friday, April 17

After the crazy success of The Circle and Love Is Blind, we should have expected that Netflix would continue to corner the market for watercooler worthy dating competition reality series. If you loved the aforementioned reality shows that set the internet ablaze a mere few weeks ago, then you’re going to be obsessed with the next installment in the streaming giant’s dating games. Too Hot To Handle takes a page from Love Island, and it could be the next addictive binge this month.

Too Hot To Handle takes 10 young singles and sends them to a seaside paradise we’re they’re expecting to live it up like it’s a summer on The Real World. However, the commitment-phobic singles will have to resist the urge to have a casual hookup. If they want to win the $100,000 grand prize, they can’t kiss or anything. Should they slip up, the prize money decreases and the stakes to resist the temptation increases even higher.

The underlying concept of Too Hot To Handle is to see if rewarding the contestants for not engaging in any sexual activity will inspire them to form emotional connections. Of course, in a luxury paradise with so much desire running rampant, it might all be too hot to handle. As of this writing, there’s no word on episode count or release schedule. But you can fully expect to get hooked on the next big trashy reality show when Too Hot To Handle premieres April 17.
