At long last, Marvel’s Black Panther is about to be a part of the Disney Plus lineup. It’s heading to Disney Plus tonight, and here’s all you need to know.

When Disney Plus launched, not all Marvel movies were added. This wasn’t all that surprising considering the contract with Netflix. Slowly, the movies have been removed from Netflix and added to Disney Plus, and that’s the case for Black Panther this week.

Black Panther is finally being added to the Disney Plus lineup tonight. The time isn’t all that clear. Some movies and shows have been added at midnight. Others have been added later in the day.

This shouldn’t be that surprising. Disney is trying to figure out a time that works for it, especially since it’s only launched in a handful of countries so far. It’s not like Netflix, which has found 3:01 a.m. ET is the perfect time to drop shows and movies.

For the most part, Disney Plus seems to be adding content at 6 a.m. ET. All we know is that by the time you’re getting the kids ready for school or you’re getting ready for work, Black Panther will be available to stream.

Black Panther was one of the hit Marvel movies that introduced new characters and brought us a fresh storyline. Chadwick Boseman took on the titular character, but it was Michael B. Jordan’s villain that we fell in love with; he’s one of those villains that we hate to love, wanting more despite knowing it can never really happen.

Well, I guess never say never when it comes to the Marvel universe. We have Bucky back, after all! But I doubt we’ll get Killmonger back. Despite that, Black Panther is an essential movie in the franchise to understand the origins of this character many non-comic book fans had not heard of up to this point in the MCU.
