Washington: The Evil Queen

Who better to represent Washington than the poison apple queen herself, right? Washington is the apple capital, so it’d be just the place the Evil Queen would love to infiltrate so she could make sure Snow White never got away.

Although, the chance of Snow White ever eating an apple again after what happened the last time is slim, but a queen can hope. This would obviously be if she hadn’t been brutally murdered by the dwarves. Don’t let anyone tell you that Disney isn’t dark!

There should be some kind of alert system when the queen comes within a certain distance of an apple orchard. If she gets too close, apples are recalled and people are warned not to eat them. Then Snow White (or the dwarves because there is no way the queen isn’t going after them) could be aware that she needed to be careful about what she ate.

But when she’s not trying to poison people, transforming into a witch, asking her mirror who is prettier than her, or paying people to carve out hearts, she can check out the Space Needle, make some kind of magical concoction in the depths of Mount Rainier, hide out in the Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park, or go take a look at the last glaciers before they disappear.

Or maybe she’ll end up in Seattle aka The Emerald City and make it more like The Wizard of Oz. If there are a witch and a sorceress in the city, it might as well be Oz. She may not have been the Wicked Witch of the West in the Snow White story, but Washington is in the west and she’s a witch so…

Maybe she should watch out for houses landing on her. I smell a crossover!
