New York: Captain America

The guy from Brooklyn turned ultimate superhero and American icon has to represent his home state. There’s no other option. The man must have his state and I doubt New York minds whatsoever. Who doesn’t at least like Captain America a little bit?

He’s always ready to do what’s right even if that means breaking the rules as we saw in Civil War, he’s America’s Butt, and he can throw a shield like nobody’s business, what better character could you ask for to be the representative of your state? America’s Butt, New York! This is a gift.

If we go with him not going back in time to be with Peggy and actually staying in the present, he could go back to Brooklyn and live his life with his friends, Bucky and Sam.

Unfortunately, he’d never have a normal life though. They’ve made it clear in the MCU that people know who he is. He’s not exactly hard to pick out in a crowd. But that doesn’t mean he couldn’t catch up on more of the things he missed over the years with a little help from his friends.

He’s never really had a chance to grow into himself. He was either at war, dead, or fighting numerous villains. Can Steve Rogers just relax and get a piece of pizza and go see a movie? Or does he always need to be helping someone?

Living back in his home state, he would be able to figure that out. And who knows, you might see him while taking the subway! How awesome would that be?
