Everyone has a favorite Disney movie and a character they love, but what character best represents the state you live in? Find out here!

Everybody has a favorite Disney character, right? You probably even have a couple if you can’t choose just one. Belle has always been my favorite since I was a little kid. She was the first character I connected to because she had brown hair and read books like me. Later on, it was Princess Jasmine and then Elsa.

But what if you had to pick a character to best represent the state you live in? That’s a much more difficult task. It’s more about what your state represents and the landmarks in the state than it is about personal choice.

You have to figure out what  the most prominent traits of your state are and how they translate into a character. Or, you need to decide if there’s a character who would find living in your state perfect based on who they are. What state would you pick for Aladdin or Peter Pan or Sleeping Beauty?

It’s a tough call, right? Most characters don’t obviously fit anywhere, especially ones who live in castles or magical worlds. Sadly, we don’t have any of those in the United States.

But some characters are easier to place. Any character from Frozen has to go in a place that’s cold at least part of the year and the characters from The Little Mermaid need to be near water.

Others are easy because in the movies, they already live in America. Princess Tiana obviously fits perfectly in Louisiana while Captain America must be in New York where he grew up. And yes, now that Marvel is part of Disney, the Avengers do count as Disney characters.

But what about the other states. That’s what we’re discussing here.

Take a look at the best Disney characters that represent each of the 50 states
