5 good Netflix movies to watch over Christmas vacation
By Sandy C.
3. Christmas Inheritance
Ellen Langford (Eliza Taylor) may be the heiress of her father’s, Jim Langford (Neil Crone), business, but Jim is a strict dad. Jim refuses to hand over the business to his daughter until she learns a lesson or two in working hard and being humble. But this will take more than a stern conversation between the two.
Jim wants Ellen to discover the true meaning of Christmas, the jolly cheer and season of giving of it all! To push Ellen towards this, Jim sends her to Snow Falls, a small town where his childhood friend resides, to deliver a letter to him. What are the contents of this letter? That may be a mystery, but it’s not the focus.
What matters is that Ellen’s in a town where no one recognizes who she is, and she’s loving it. It’s not so much that she can get away with things, it’s the complete opposite. Ellen is enjoying just being one of the people and not worrying about expectations. Jim hopes Ellen finds the gift of Christmas in Snow Falls. Ellen may find more than Christmas spirit, though, she may also find love!
With Christmas Inheritance, Netflix has cemented itself as the romantic Christmas movie king! If you are into romantic Christmas movies, this is one to watch! And unlike the Christmas Prince movies, this movie isn’t as sentimental. Christmas Inheritance has something everyone in the family can enjoy.
