Fuller House season 5 is coming to Netflix tonight

The first half of Fuller House’s final season will be on Netflix tonight. The countdown is on for the beginning of the end.

This year has seen some big TV shows come to an end or start their final seasons. I’ve said goodbye to Game of Thrones and Veep, am on the farewell tour of Arrow and Supernatural, and will soon be starting the goodbye to Criminal Minds (technically next year but the goodbye really started during Season 14). And now it’s time to say goodbye to Fuller House on Netflix.

Fuller House season 5 will drop on Netflix tonight, and there are certainly mixed feelings. While we want to see how it ends, we don’t want to say goodbye. The great news is that this isn’t quite the goodbye that other shows will face this year.

The comedy revival of Full House will say goodbye in two parts. We’re only getting the first half of the season tonight. The second half will come sometime next year, and possibly around the same time of year. After all, there’s something magical about Fuller House that warrants a holiday season release.

Season 4 ended with Stephanie and Jimmy having their baby, and now it’s time for the baby-with-no-name-yet to come home. We’ll get to witness the ups and downs of parenthood, and there are plenty. For Stephanie, it’s going to be that feeling of being a single parent with Jimmy away for so long.

However, she’s not alone. As we hear in the trailer, there are so many people living in this house already. It’s not surprising that there will always be someone to help, whether it’s to watch the baby for an hour for Stephanie to nap or watch overnight so Stephanie can get out of the house for a while.

Of course, Stephanie isn’t the only focus. D.J. said yes to Steve during the season 4 finale, and we’ll be picking up with that. And what’s going on with Kimmy and Fernando? Are they engaged, divorced, or both? You’ll need to watch the promo to understand that reference!
