Get ready to end the month, year and decade with a James Bond marathon to end all marathons. On the final day of the month, which also happens to be New Year’s Eve, four James Bond films come to Netflix to get fans excited for the upcoming 25th film next year. Unfortunately, they aren’t the Daniel Craig-era films, but rather than Pierce Brosnan-era films, which are the perfect kind of throwback to close out the decade with, even if they don’t even hail from this decade.

GoldenEye, the first film of the Brosnan era, kicks off the Bond marathon with another pulse-pounding spy adventure. Brosnan stars as James Bond, who must contend with his former ally turned enemy Alec Trevelyan (Sean Bean) when a powerful satellite system falls into the hands of Agent 006. Obviously, our guy 007 must save the world from the space weapon that has the ability the destroy the world. Bond must also face off with Trevelyan’s ally Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), who’s an assassin using pleasure as her most dangerous weapon.

Upon release, GoldenEye received mostly positive reception from critics, who responded well to the new era of James Bond and amassed the film’s 78% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film was the most successful Bond film in years, grabbing a worldwide gross of $355 million against a budget of $60 million. GoldenEye made way for another profitable era of James Bond, though he was only getting started. Check out the film and three others when they hit Netflix on Dec. 31.
