Outlander season 3 is coming to Netflix in December 2019

Outlander season 3 starring Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan is coming to Netflix in December 2019. Netflix just announced the release date for the season.

Outlander season 3 is coming to Netflix very soon!

After adding the first two seasons of the hit TV series earlier this year, Netflix announced Outlander season 3 is coming to the streaming service on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. That’s only three weeks away!

The third season of the series, which is based on the book series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon, follows Jamie’s journey while Claire is back in 1948. I think we all know she won’t stay there for long, though!

The streaming network shared the news via the See What’s Next Twitter account. If you aren’t following that account, that’s the Netflix account to follow!

The third season consists of 13 episodes, like the second and fourth seasons. The first season is 16 episodes. When the new season hits Netflix, there will be 42 episodes of the series to stream!

As mentioned, the first two seasons of the series are now streaming on Netflix. They make for a great re-watch on Netflix to prepare yourselves for season 3. If you haven’t seen this series, we highly recommend you check it out on Netflix as soon as you can!

Outlander season 5 premieres on Starz on Feb. 16, 2020. That gives you more than enough time to catch up.

Unfortunately, the fourth season is not available to stream on Netflix yet. We’re hoping the most recently released season is coming to the streaming service before the premiere of season 5. That way, you’ll really be able to catch up before the new season starts.

We’ll let you know more about the new seasons of Outlander coming to Netflix when we find out. We have to assume season 5 will also be available to stream on Netflix, but it will probably take a significant amount of time following the new season’s premiere before it is available to stream on Netflix.
