New on Netflix this week: The Crown, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings and more

Netflix has a bunch of new stuff coming this week. Whether you’re looking for a new series or new movie, there’s something for you. Here’s the full list!

Another week is here and a ton of new movies and TV shows are being added to Netflix. It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking for a new season of a Netflix Original, a new anthology series with a legendary country singer, or a new Christmas movie, Netflix has you covered.

The week starts off with The Crown season 3 hitting Netflix on Nov. 17. Now that the show is moving into the mid-late 1960s, the show has been recast to represent the characters getting older. Olivia Colman is taking over for Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth and Tobias Menzies is replacing Matt Smith as Prince Philip.

This season will show more of Princess Margaret and Lord Snowden’s marriage and the relationship between Elizabeth and the Prime Minister.

If you’re more in the mood for something a little bit different, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings comes to Netflix on Nov. 22. This anthology series features one of the country legend’s songs per episode. Actors bring to life the stories in each of the eight different songs and Dolly talks about her thought process when writing the songs.

Or maybe you’re already in the holiday spirit and looking for a new Christmas movie? You’re in luck because The Knight Before Christmas starring Vanessa Hudgens hits Netflix on Nov. 21. An English knight time travels to the present day where he falls in love with Brooke, a high school science teacher, who has given up on love.
