A list of five good Netflix shows to watch this weekend, including The Crown season 3, Daybreak, and more!

One of Netflix’s biggest original shows is coming back for a new season this weekend! The Crown season 3 premieres on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, and it’s going to be one of the biggest shows of the year.

If you’re not into The Crown, don’t worry! We have four more shows for you to watch on Netflix this weekend.

Let’s get the list started with The Crown!

The Crown season 3

The Crown season 3 officially hits Netflix this weekend! The hit Netflix series is back with an all-new cast after a two-year break following the end of season 2.

Olivia Colman takes over as Queen Elizabeth II, and she’ll be joined in the new season by Helena Bonham Carter and Tobias Menzies.

The new season follows the Queen and England through the late 1960s and into the 1970s.

I don’t know for sure, but I’m pretty sure this is the first major Netflix original release to take place on a Sunday. Why it’s available on Sunday, I have no idea, but maybe someone smarter will have the answer to that question.  I don’t know if I can do a full season 3 binge-watch this weekend, but I’ll be watching the following week, and you should be too!

The Crown has already been renewed for season 4.

Daybreak

This series is on the list of shows again!

Daybreak is the best Netflix show of the fall so far, and it hasn’t been renewed for season 2 yet. That’s no reason to panic, but it will be unacceptable if this show gets canceled at Netflix.

To make sure this post-apocalyptic comedy-drama is renewed for season 2, we need more viewers to watch! You definitely won’t be disappointed; this show has it all!

After a nuclear bomb wipes out the adults and a lot of people in the US, teens from Glendale, California, have formed different factions based on high school cliques to survive. Then, there’s Josh, who is just looking for his girlfriend.

The Great British Baking Show: Holidays season 2

This is the pick for The Great British Baking Show fans this weekend! After a great seventh season on Netflix (and in the UK), The Great British Baking Show is back for the Holidays for the second year in a row.

In the new episodes, you get to see your favorites from past seasons bake holiday treats!

If you haven’t seen this show, you are missing out. It’s the best reality competition on Netflix right now, and it makes for a great binge-watch!

You

Netflix just revealed the release date for You season 2, so it’s the perfect time to watch this show for the first time or re-watch the show while you’re waiting for the new season of the hit series.

You season 2 premieres on Thursday, Dec. 26, the day after Christmas. Hopefully, you have the day off to see what creepy things Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is up to in season 2.

Joe is heading to Los Angeles from New York City in season 2. Will his past catch up to him? That’s what we want to find out!

Arrow

Arrow is one of Netflix’s biggest shows, and it’s coming to an end soon. If you follow the cast and crew on Twitter, you know production on the series is winding down and it’s a very emotional time for the cast, crew and, of course, fans of the hit series.

The first seven seasons of Arrow are streaming on Netflix right now, and you should catch up before the final season hits Netflix in early 2020.

Normally, we’d have to wait until May or June to watch the full season of Arrow on Netflix. Because the final season is shorter than the others, you’ll get to watch it on Netflix a few months sooner than previous seasons have been released. That’s the good news!

The bad news is you’ll probably bawl your eyes out!

Lucifer

The Netflix series is back in the news this week! Lucifer is, once again, on the list of the top 10 streaming shows, and there hasn’t been a new season in more than six months. We don’t see that very often!

That’s because Lucifer fans are some of the best in TV right now. They routinely binge-watch the series on Netflix as they wait for the fifth season of the series to arrive on Netflix!

If you haven’t seen this series on Netflix, it’s time to start now. All four seasons are on Netflix right now!
