How to Get Away with Murder was back with episode 8 of season 6 and it was intense. But there are still a lot of loose ends to be tied up.

This week’s episode of How to Get Away with Murder was riveting. Who knew Snow White would be on trial for conspiracy to murder the Evil Queen? And with Bonnie injured, the Governor testifying on the stand, and Annalise ready to escape her life, this episode brought up more questions than it did answers.

Let’s look at a couple and hope they get answered next week.

1. Is Annalise really dead?

After no one came up with a satisfactory plan to prove Snow White innocent of the Evil Queen’s murder, Annalise (and Asher) offered the only viable one: the Evil Queen faked her own death.

With the introduction of this idea, it looks more and more likely that this might be what Annalise is planning. Perhaps the funeral we’ve seen since episode 1 is fake and she gets away? And maybe the crime scene was all made to look like someone killed her? With the midseason finale coming next week, hopefully, we’ll have some answers soon.

2. How will the case continue?

Now that they coerced the prison guard who killed Nate’s father into testifying that Xavier Castillo ordered the hit, how will the case continue?

Will anyone make it out alive to even win the case with the record of the Castillo’s making people “disappear?’ And if the case does continue, what will happen next? Will Xavier be called to testify?

It’s hard to guess what the writers have up their sleeve, but if nothing else, it’ll be a twist we never thought of!

3. Who’s the snitch?

Based on the promo for next week, the Keating 5’s secrets are coming out and they’re all over the news.

Most likely, this means Sam’s murder and everyone involved in it will no longer be a secret. But the question is: who leaked the information? Xavier has the file with Wes’s statement about everything that happened, but Gabriel is also being accused of snitching everything he knows.

While I expected some of the truth to come out, I did not expect it to be this soon. It means that, if nothing else, the midseason finale is going to be intense! Are y’all ready?

How To Get Away with Murder airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC
