Disney announces 16 Marvel movies will be available to stream when Disney Plus launches on Tuesday, November 12.

Disney has a few more surprises up their sleeves for Disney Plus! One day before the streaming service is scheduled to launch, Disney revealed all the Marvel movies that will be available to stream at the time Disney Plus launches, including Avengers: Endgame and more.

Heading into the launch of Disney Plus, we were only expecting eight MCU movies would be available on the new streaming service on the launch date. These films included Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Thor: Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Iron Man 3.

According to the tweets from Disney Plus, there will be 16 MCU movies available to stream at launch. We shared the full list of movies below:

  • Iron Man
  • Iron Man 2
  • Iron Man 3
  • Thor
  • Thor: Dark World
  • Captain America: The First Avenger
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • Captain America: Civil War
  • The Avengers
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Avengers: Endgame
  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
  • Doctor Strange
  • Ant-Man
  • Captain Marvel

Last week, we learned about the addition of Avengers: Endgame on launch day. The film was supposed to be added to the streaming service on Dec. 11, but that plan changed, and they decided to add the movie earlier. That’s good news for us!

Above, you’ll see almost every MCU movie on that list. Which movies are missing? Well, that’d be all the MCU movies on Netflix.

Netflix still has the streaming rights to Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Endgame and Ant-Man and the Wasp, and they will continue to stream those movies for the next year or so. They’re all scheduled to leave Netflix about 18 months after they were added to the streaming service.

With Disney Plus and Netflix, you can watch all 20 MCU movies, ending with Avengers: Endgame, starting tomorrow. If there was any doubt Marvel fans would subscribe, that doubt has officially been removed!

Eventually, all 20 MCU movies will be available on Disney Plus. We’ll be sure to let you know when that happens. All the future Marvel movies will also make their way to Disney Plus, and the new Marvel shows are also coming exclusively to the new streaming service.

You’ll notice that Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home will not be on Disney Plus. That’s because Sony owns the distribution rights to those movies.
