When will Rick and Morty season 4 be on Hulu?

When will Rick and Morty season 4 be on Hulu? Find out when the new season of Rick and Morty will be available for streaming on Hulu.

When will Rick and Morty season 4 be on Hulu? Rick and Morty‘s new season starts on Sunday, so some fans will be waiting on the edge of their seats to stream the latest episodes. But there’s now a big change this season.

Even Rick Sanchez has corporate overlords. Adult Swim, which airs the hit animated series, is part of Turner (along with networks like TBS, TNT and TruTV), and Turner is owned by WarnerMedia. So the end result of that corporate game of musical chairs is that Rick and Morty season 4 might or might not be on Hulu.

Follow along here: on Oct. 30, WarnerMedia announced that it was taking Rick and Morty for its own streaming platform, HBO MAX. The entire show will be streaming exclusively on HBO MAX going forward—but that service doesn’t launch until May 2020!

So it’s possible that Hulu will retain the streaming rights from now, when the fourth season is starting, until next spring. Hulu has been the show’s streaming home from the outset and a lot of people watch it there; there’s no reason for Adult Swim to necessarily pull the plug, unless they want to enforce their exclusivity purely because they can.

When will Rick and Morty season 4 be on Hulu? It could hit there this fall if Adult Swim makes the first five episodes available right after they air. If the network waits until the entire fourth season is out, though, then it probably won’t be there—with the rest of the season premiering on TV at an undisclosed time in 2020, that will probably get close to or exceed the May deadline.

Be aware, though, that HBO MAX will require a separate subscription, so that may not be schwifty for fans. But Netflix Life will keep you posted with any Rick and Morty streaming updates!
