This is another Dreamworks tv series and was created specifically for Netflix. It’s based on the fantasy novels of the same name by Guillermo del Toro and Daniel Kalus.

The series follows Toby Domzalski, a kid, who finds he is chosen by a magical amulet that sets him on his destiny. His destiny affects not one but two worlds, and it is up to Toby and his friends to save them both.

Netflix is currently streaming three seasons, and unfortunately, they have opted not to renew for a fourth. This is another great series for all ages and for family viewing as you tune into the adventures of Toby and his friends.

Scream

Director: Jamie Travis, Brian Dannelly , and various others

Starring: Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna, Carlson Young, Tracy Middendorf, Amadeus Serafini, and Mike Vaughn

Scream is an anthology series based on the horror movie franchise of the same name. The premise follows a group of teens that is being stalked by a psychopathic killer, Ghostaface. It’s a new group of teens each season.

In every season, the teens have to find out who they are being hunted by before they become victims.

This series is recommended for ages 13 and above, because of the content and subject matter. It is a really great series for the older kids and even us adults.

I loved the movies, and since this series is based on those movies, I’m watching and re-watching this series. Netflix is currently streaming all three seasons. It’s not clear if the show will be renewed for season 4 yet. There’s plenty of episodes to keep you busy while the snow is falling right now.
