Let It Snow starring Kiernan Shipka, Shameik Moore, Isabela Merced and more is coming to Netflix on Friday, Nov. 8. Will you be staying up late to watch?

If you like teen movies and/or holiday movies, you better be staying up late tonight. The Netflix original film Let It Snow is coming to Netflix tonight!

Let It Snow is the biggest holiday movie of the season so far from Netflix, and you can watch the film on Friday, Nov. 8. The movie is scheduled to be released at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, so if you stay up late on Thursday night, you can stream this new movie as soon as it’s released.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. Luke Snellin is directing.

Here is the synopsis of the film, via Netflix:

"When a snowstorm hits a small midwestern town on Christmas Eve, a group of high school seniors find their friendships and love lives colliding thanks to a stranded pop star, a stolen keg, a squad of competitive dancers, a mysterious woman covered in tin foil, and an epic party at the local Waffle Town. Come Christmas morning, nothing will be the same."

According to Netflix, Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Kiernan Shipka, Odeya Rush, Liv Hewson, Mitchell Hope, Jacob Batalon, and Joan Cusack star in the film. That’s a great cast! And, that’s not even including D’Arcy Carden, Matthew Daniel Noszka, Anna Akana, Miles Robbins, Andrea de Oliveira, and Victor Rivas Rivers.

There are a lot of Netflix stars in this movie. Obviously, most Netflix fans will recognize Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka. Shameik Moore, who voices Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, also starred in the Netflix series The Get Down. Odeya Rush recently starred in Netflix’s Dumplin’, and Liv Hewson starred in Santa Clarita Diet.

Spider-Man fans will also recognize Jacob Batalon as Ned from the new Spider-Man movies.

There are so many good reasons (the actors!) to watch this new movie. And, the story looks good, too, especially if you’re a fan of romantic Christmas movies.

You can bet Let It Snow will be on our list of the best Christmas movies on Netflix. There are more Netflix original holiday movies on the way after this one, starting with Klaus on Friday, Nov. 15.

Will you be staying up late to watch this new movie on Netflix? Spread the word and let your fellow romantic Christmas movie fans know when this film will be available to stream!
