11 ways to celebrate Stranger Things Day on Nov. 6, 2019, including watching the series on Netflix, eating Eggos and drinking Slurpees!

Happy Stranger Things Day!

To help you celebrate the biggest Netflix holiday of the year right, we picked 11 different things you can do! There’s something for everyone!

Let’s get the list started with one of Hopper’s favorite activities!

Coffee and Contemplation

Like Jim Hopper, I like to take things slow every morning with a little coffee and contemplation. Sometimes, I don’t get to do that, but it’s Stranger Things Day, so I’m going to make time for it. And, you should, too!

Binge-Watch Stranger Things on Netflix

This feels like a must for Stranger Things Day. As I mentioned yesterday, if you want to watch every episode, you’ll need about 21 hours! You better start early if that’s your plan.

I’m going to binge-watch Stranger Things 3, and if I make it through, I’ll start over at episode 1!

Enjoy a Stranger Things treat

Stranger Things is like childhood for many of us, even if we weren’t a kid in the 1980s. All kids love candy and junk food, so why not spoil yourself a little bit today? Luckily, we picked out a few snacks fans will love.

For all the Darts out there, a 3 Musketeers might do the trick. I’m not a big fan of this candy, but hey, we all have our different tastes. If 3 Musketeers do it for you, you might be a growing Demogorgon.

For the Elevens and Hoppers, your treat of choice will be the Triple Decker Eggo Extravaganza. According to Fandom, the Triple Decker Eggo Extravaganza is three Eggo waffles stacked with whipped cream between each layer. On top, you can add any of your favorite candies, and ENJOY!

For all you Erikas out there, any (and all!) flavors of ice cream will be appropriate for Stranger Things Day, although a USS Butterscotch sounds mighty tasty!

If you’re more of an Alexei, it’s Cherry or Strawberry Slurpees and corndogs all day long! Poor Alexei, you never got the chance to try a corndog.

Call everyone you talk to a “dingus”

This is inspired by Robin, of course. Not everyone can stay home watching Stranger Things and eat delicious treats, but we all can condescendingly speak to those around us. If you’re going to do that, “dingus” is the best way to go on Stranger Things Day.

Watch the blooper reel

Stranger Things is rolling out a new blooper reel today! As far as I know, we’ve never seen any official bloopers from the series, so this is first. And, it should be awesome!

I’m hoping it’s not just the Stranger Things 3 bloopers, and we’ll get to see bloopers from all the seasons. I’ll be happy with whatever it is, though!

Build a Cerebro radio tower to call your long-distance girlfriend

Obviously, this is a very specific thing you can do to celebrate Stranger Things Day. If you don’t have the time, money or expertise to make this happen, you can always call your significant other and sing a duet of The NeverEnding Story theme song!

Adopt a dog or cat from the shelter and name it after a character on the show

Unfortunately, a few of the pets in the series have suffered unfortunate fates. Thanks to the Stranger Things Writers Twitter account, we know the Byers’ dog, Chester, has passed away. We also know Mews, Dustin’s cat, was eaten by Dart.

There are tons of dogs and cats that need new homes in the world, and they all need to be named after characters from the series.

Check social media Stranger Things 4 updates

We’ve been promised a blooper reel for Stranger Things Day, but I’m really hoping that we also get some updates on season 4. If something is announced, social media is the place you’re going to see it first. It’s probably a good idea to make sure you’re following all the big social media accounts for any and all announcements.

We already know some information about Stranger Things 4. Filming starts in January 2020 and it will likely last through August 2020. It’s also been reported that the show is looking to cast four new characters. And, the new season will also be eight episodes.

Play Dungeons & Dragons

This is a huge part of the world of Stranger Things! If you know how to play, there’s no better day to indulge in a new campaign, especially if you own the starter set for the show.

Read the Stranger Things books

If you want to explore the world of Stranger Things even further, you have to read the books set in this world. We highly recommend the comics series by Jodie Houser! We also highly recommend Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond, Darkness on the Edge of Town by Adam Christopher, and Runaway Max by Brenna Yovanoff.

Remember to drink water

If you have to ask, you’ll never know.
