Daybreak season 2: When is the new season coming to Netflix?

When will Daybreak season 2 be released on Netflix? If the Netflix original series is renewed for season 2, we probably will have to wait a while to see the new season.

Daybreak is one of Netflix’s best new shows of the year so far. After the show premiered in October, fans have finished the first season and now we’re all waiting to find out when we can watch Daybreak season 2 on Netflix!

Netflix has not renewed Daybreak for season 2 yet, but that’s no reason for fans to be worried. Netflix usually waits a month or two to announce a renewal. It took almost three months for the streaming network to announce Stranger Things was renewed for season 4, and that’s their biggest show of all time. We should find out about Daybreak season 2 in the next month or so.

I have little doubt, at this point, that Daybreak will be renewed for season 2. Netflix is already making a podcast for the show, and the show seems to be a big success so far. I bet more and more people are finding it on Netflix each week, and that will continue through the holidays.

Assuming Daybreak is renewed for season 2, we probably won’t see the new season anytime soon, unfortunately. Generally, it takes about a year after the season is renewed before the new season is ready to go.

Projecting that out, we’re looking at November or December 2020 for the Daybreak season 2 release date.

There’s always a chance this could take a little bit longer to see Daybreak season 2. There are many factors at play, and Netflix might not want to roll the new season of this show our right before the holidays. If that happens, we’ll probably have to wait until early 2021 to see the new season. I don’t think that will happen, but it’s always a possibility with Netflix. The streaming network doesn’t seem to mind waiting a little bit longer than a year between each season.

I’m expecting Daybreak season 2 will arrive in the fall of 2020. The fall seems like a great time for this show to be released, and with New York Comic-Con taking place at the beginning of October, that’s a great time for Netflix to promote the new season. Hopefully, it happens over the next few years as this show continues to be renewed for new seasons. We can only hope that’s the future of this great show.
