Canceled after: 5 seasons

Fans of Full House were overjoyed when Netflix announced it would be bringing the sitcom back to life in a spin-off/sequel series! Sure, at the moment it may be all about reboots, revivals, and sequels, but when Fuller House was born, this craze was only just beginning, so the news wasn’t ill-received. Instead, everyone highly anticipated the arrival of America’s favorite family.

Fuller House focused on the lives of D.J. Tanner-Fuller, her sister Stephanie, and their best friend Kimmy, and not so much the rest of the family. Still, they showed up frequently and those are the best episodes!

We gotta admit, for a Netflix series, five seasons is actually not bad! The streaming giant is known for canceling shows after two or three seasons. However, Fuller House may have lasted even longer had it not been for all the controversy that quickly began to gather around it. From behind-the-scenes disputes to a recent scandal, Fuller House always had an issue attached to its good name.

Thankfully, at least, we will get to see a nice ending to all of their stories since the cast and crew are well aware the ending is near. If we must choose, it’s better for a series to plan its finale ahead instead of getting the axe unexpectedly and leaving fans with a cliffhanger.

There’s more to look forward to, though! The final season premieres late 2019 and is promising to be the biggest yet, as it should be. Season 5 will consist of 8 episodes. We’ll keep you posted on a premiere date.
