19. Friends from College

Canceled after: 2 seasons

Admittedly, Netflix’s Friends from College is one of the few shows on this list I have yet to see. I’m not sure what is taking me so long. I very often see the series being posted about on Twitter and Facebook, so much so, that I’m surprised it only received two seasons. With how much I’ve heard about it, I was assuming Friends from College had at least four seasons under its belt.

The cast, which consists of Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Savage, Annie Parisse and others, is another reason I’ve been meaning to watch! Unfortunately, Netflix beat me to it and canceled the series earlier this year. In fact, only three weeks after rolling out its second season, Netflix gives it the ax. Way to give the show a chance, Netflix!

Don’t get me wrong, I do still plan on watching just to see what I missed out on. If you plan to as well, here’s more information on what Friends From College is all about.

The comedy follows the shenanigans and misadventures of a close group of friends, all Harvard alumni now in their 40s. Despite their age, many of them continue to try to navigate their life and find themselves, all in the heart of New York City. On top of a fun story and talented cast, Friends From College also loved surprising fans with cameos. Some of these include Kate McKinnon and Seth Rogen.

Join me in watching this comedy despite it being canceled! There are only 8 episodes per season, so it should be a quick and fun binge, and isn’t that what we are all looking for on a chill weekend at home?
