Zombieland is coming back to Netflix in November 2019

Zombieland is coming back to Netflix very soon! You can start watching the great zombie movie starring Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Abigail Breslin on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.

The film tells the story of four survivors of the zombie apocalypse who band together in an effort to survive. They make a cross-country trip to Hollywood to find a place that’s free of zombies.

Zombieland premiered in 2009 and was a big success. In the years following its release, it’s become even more popular, especially as Eisenberg, Stone and the other cast members have become more popular.

Rhett Rheese and Paul Wernick wrote the screenplay for the film. You’ll recognize those two as the driving for behind Deadpool and Deadpool 2 starring Ryan Reynolds. If you like Deadpool, you’ll definitely like the humor and jokes in this movie, as well. Ruben Fleischer directed the movie.

10 years after the film premiered, the whole gang got back together to make a sequel, Zombieland: Double Tap, which just premiered in theaters on Oct. 18, 2019. It’s still in theaters, so you can enjoy a Netflix-movie theater double-feature this weekend if you want!

Zombieland was available to stream on Netflix as of a few months ago, but the film was removed from the streaming service in the months leading up to the release of the sequel.

If you haven’t seen the film, you need to check it out on Netflix next month, especially if you’re a fan of the zombie genre.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like Zombieland: Double Tap will be joining the first film on Netflix anytime soon. The film will likely be added to Starz, as Sony and Starz have a distribution deal in place that brings all new Sony movies to Starz after their theatrical release.
