Every month, the number of original comedy specials on Netflix seems to increase, and for the better. This month, three amazing comedy specials premiere, and one comes from longtime voice in comedy Jeff Garlin, headlining his first Netflix special Jeff Garlin: Our Man in Chicago

On the 37th anniversary of his debut in comedy, Jeff Garlin returns to his hometown for Jeff Garlin: Our Man in Chicago, a one-hour special that’s practically the greatest hits of Garlin’s signature storytelling and improv style.

Throughout the set, Garlin takes the audience on a trip down memory lane (hopefully telling stories about his time in Hollywood), digs into the audience’s personal lives, spends some hours in jail and there’s even donuts. What’s not enticing about jail, donuts and prying into the lives of strangers?

Jeff Garlin: Our Man in Chicago finds the comedian returning to his stand-up roots after appear on television and in movies for years. Garlin stars in Curb Your Enthusiasm and has appeared in shows like Everybody Loves Raymond and Arrested Development. He currently stars in The Goldbergs, which is in its seventh season on ABC. If you’re a fan of Jeff Garlin and his work, check out his own brand of comedy when the special premieres on the second comedy Tuesday of November.
