Ever since The Fault in Our Stars became a smash sleeper hit in 2014, film adaptations of John Green novels have been the latest bankable trend to sweep Hollywood. Paper Towns hit theaters in 2015, Turtles All the Way Down is in development and mere weeks ago, the miniseries Looking for Alaska launched on Hulu to critical acclaim.

Next up, it’s Let It Snow for Netflix, the latest addition to the streaming giant’s ever-growing teen romantic comedy collection.

Based on the novel of the same name by Maureen Johnson, John Green and Lauren Myracle, Let It Snow takes place in the midst of a snowstorm in a small Midwestern town on Christmas Eve. In a variety of intertwining stories, a group of high school seniors find their friendships and romantic relationships crossing paths ahead of the holiday with help from a pop star, a woman in tin foil, a keg, competitive dancers and one wild party at Waffle Town. Everything will be different on Christmas morning.

Let It Snow features a formidable lineup of recognizable young stars, led by none other than Netflix’s own Sabrina Spellman, Kiernan Shipka. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star is joined by The Get Down’s Shameik Moore, Spider-Man’s Jacob Batalon, Dora and the Lost City of Gold’s Isabel Merced, Dumplin’s Odeya Rush, Santa Clarita Diet’s Liv Hewson and Joan Cusack.

Don’t miss the latest John Green adaptation and one of the best new feel-good Christmas rom-coms when Let It Snow brings the holiday spirit when it premieres on Nov. 8.
