This November on Netflix, a few series return with new seasons after a decent amount of time away. Two series, including The End of the F***ing World, have spent two years off the air, leaving fans with high anticipation and high expectations for the new set of episodes premiering this month. The British dark comedy-drama returns with its second season, and it’s sure to be one of the most-watched releases of the month.

Based on the mini-comics and graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman, The End of the F***ing World centers on 17-year-old James (Alex Lawther), who pretty much believes himself to be a psychopath since he kills animals for fun. When he decides to kill a human, his target, Alyssa (Jessica Barden), instead proposes the two run away for an adventure. In the second season, Alyssa reels with the aftermath of the first season’s events, while new character Bonnie (Naomi Ackie) arrives shrouded in mystery and a curious connection to Alyssa.

The End of the F***ing World first premiered on Netflix in October 2017 and quickly became a fan-favorite series. The series received critical acclaim, holding a stellar 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and landed an Emmy Award nomination for Best Cinematography.

If you haven’t yet watched the series or need a refresher, there’s still time to sneak in a quick binge of the first season’s eight episodes before eight new ones begins streaming on Nov. 5.
