New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady makes an appearance in the new Netflix original series Living with Yourself starring Paul Rudd. Watch the new series on Netflix!

Fans of the New England Patriots and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady should definitely watch the new Netflix original series Living with Yourself. Brady has a short cameo role in the first episode of the series, and it’s excellent.

Living with Yourself just premiered on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 18. The series stars Paul Rudd and Aisling Bea. In the show, Rudd’s character, Miles, is unhappy with his life. At the recommendation of a colleague, Miles gets a spa treatment that’s supposed to bring out the best in him.

Spoilers below for the interaction with Tom Brady!

When he arrives at the strip mall location for the treatment, who does Miles run into? Tom Brady! Brady is exiting the spa. Miles asks if this is Brady’s first time getting the treatment, and he replies that he’s had the treatment six times.

Obviously, this is a reference to Brady’s six Super Bowl wins. It’s a great moment in the episode, which is a great way to kick off a new series.

If you’ve been paying attention to anything about this series, you know that Miles emerges from the treatment with two versions of himself, the old version and a new, better Miles. Likely, we just saw the new, better version of Tom Brady leaving the facility.

It’s great that Brady is involved with this series in this role. There’s all the talk about all the things Brady does to keep himself in tip-top shape for football, and this weird treatment definitely seems like something he’d take advantage of, and that’s really why this cameo works so well. There are only so many people and athletes that could pull off the joke, so I’m glad Brady signed on for the part.

Living with Yourself is easily one of Netflix’s best comedy shows of the year. I binge-watched all eight episodes as soon as it was available. You won’t be disappointed with this one!
