Grey’s Anatomy strives to charm audiences with two special guests in this week’s episode, “Reunited.”

Grey’s Anatomy is yet another ABC show from the past week to join in on the “Cast from the Past” fun. Are there any Charmed fans out there? Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs dropped by for a guest stint, and it was wonderful! Well, not their arc so much but seeing them back together.

Jo makes great strides after everything she’s been through by taking on a big surgery in Meredith’s absence. Unfortunately, the patient isn’t too keen on letting her operate without Meredith. But no worries, Dr. Jo has just the solution–Skype!

Long lost love is at the heart of this week’s episode after two individuals reunite after decades. It’s quite an emotional love story that will put a smile on your face. Don’t we love when Grey’s Anatomy gives us those moments? Unfortunately, not all things are great in this episode as we lose yet another doctor from Grey Sloan, and it looks like she won’t be back

There are lots of things to discuss from “Reunited”, so let’s not waste any more time. Here are the 5 best moments from the recent episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

A charming reunion

As previously mentioned, two cast members from Charmed reunited especially for this week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy. It appears ABC is participating in a “Cast from the Past” ordeal, and they went with Charmed for this particular series. Combs and Milano come together as two sisters who can’t seem to agree on anything, especially not how to process their sister is on her death-bed.

Throughout the episode, they fight, they bicker, but eventually, they come together to pull the plug on their sister, who turns out wasn’t their sister at all. But that’s a story for another day. Yay for Charmed reunion!

Meredith’s surgery Skype

Meredith is still on the outs as far as practicing medicine goes, and for now, there is no way to know when she could return. This presents a huge problem back at Grey Sloan when one of her patients returns from vacation assuming Meredith would be doing her surgery.

The patient refuses to let anyone but Meredith operate, but that’s just not going to happen. At least, not for the time being (I’m over this whole Meredith business). Jo insists that she can do the surgery, but the patient simply won’t listen, so they have to improvise–by Skyping Meredith during surgery. I think we’ve seen it all on Grey’s Anatomy, haven’t we?

Yet another Jackson romance

I know Jackson has had so many romances on Grey’s Anatomy, but I really like Vic. And it was so exciting to see things go to the next level in this week’s episode. I feel bad for Maggie, and I think he handled that whole situation extremely poorly, but I won’t lie when I say I’m shipping Jackson and Vic.

I’m not sure if this will be an ongoing thing, or if Jackson will yet again fail at a relationship, but for the time being, I’m so here for it–especially after their intense flirting.

Farewell, Qadri

With Meredith Grey gone from Grey Sloan, many of its residents aren’t exactly pleased. In fact, many of them came to that program because of her, especially Qadri. She’s pretty upset over the whole ordeal and it comes to a head during Jo’s surgery. She can’t seem to understand why Bailey is so against Grey, and why she can’t see how important Grey is to the whole program.

After a heated argument, Bailey ends up firing Qadri, asking her to go on her way from a program she no longer respects and enjoys. While this isn’t exactly a “best moment”, it does remind us that Bailey is who she has always been. She’s the one who taught the greats, so while Meredith is the reason people flock to Grey Sloan, Bailey is the one who taught her everything.

Just saying, Qadri got a bit too emotional!

Bird! Bird! Bird!

The “bird” story is probably the best thing about this episode of Grey’s Anatomy, and it overlaps with multiple characters. Link and Amelia stumble across a Korean woman in the hallway, who seems very disoriented and confused. She seems unsure of where she is and keeps repeating the word “bird”. Luckily, Nico speaks Korean and is able to translate everything she is saying to find out what’s going on–sort of.

Through translating, they learn that this woman is looking for a man named Bird. If you recall, there isn’t a man named Bird there but there is someone named Bertie–Maggie’s patient. In a twist I certainly did not see coming, we learn that the woman is there looking for Bertie whom she met and fell in love with during the Korean War.

Their paths never crossed prior to this! Turns out, the woman found her way to Bertie via the internet and showed up to find him and be with him. If that’s not the cutest love story, then I have no idea what is.
