Disney shares all the titles coming to Disney Plus on launch day
By Bryce Olin
Disney just shared the full list of new titles coming to Disney Plus on the launch date, Nov. 12. Pretty much every Disney movie will be available!
Wondering which movies and shows will be available to stream with Disney Plus launches on Nov. 12? Disney has just shared the full list of titles in a thread on Twitter and a video posted on social media!
You might have noticed a bunch of Disney movies popping up in your Twitter feed this morning. Basically, the streaming network’s official account tweeted a thread with hundreds of movies and shows that will be headed to the streaming service. I lost interest before I could get through it all, but if you want to click through it, you can!
The thread starts with Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs from 1937 and works all the way through the Disney library to The Mandalorian, which premieres on Nov. 12, 2019.
If you don’t want to go through the full tweet thread, you can watch the video of all the titles below!
Yes, that video is THREE HOURS long! I feel bad for whomever had to put that video together. It would have taken so long, and I don’t know if there will be anyone who actually watches the video all the way through.
If you do, you might as well record a video of yourself doing it and start the #DisneyPlusChallenge!
More from Disney Plus
- No, The Marvels won’t be on Netflix but here’s how you can watch it
- Is Once Upon a Time on Netflix? (where to watch the series)
- Will Secret Invasion be on Netflix? (where to stream Secret Invasion)
- Is Elemental on Netflix?
- Is Muppets Mayhem streaming on Netflix? (where to watch)
So, there’s going to be a lot of content on the streaming service on Nov. 12. The entire Disney “vault,” as they say, will be emptied and available for you to stream. Overall, I’m excited to watch and revisit some of the classics from my childhood and even before that. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to take me very long to burn back through that list of titles worth watching again.
That, to me, is the problem with Disney Plus upon its launch. Once fans get through all the new shows and movies, and they will, fans will get bored with the old stuff. There will be less churn than there is on Netflix, too, so I imagine subscribers will start to complain about the lack of new content as they do about Netflix and its library.
We’ll see how it all goes on Nov. 12!
In addition to the Disney library, you can stream new movies and shows exclusively available on Disney Plus, including the new Star Wars series,The Mandalorian; Noelle, a new Christmas movie starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader; Lady and the Tramp; the most offensively named series of all time, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; and many more!
You can sign up for Disney Plus right now ahead of the launch. The streaming service is available for $6.99 per year or $69.99 for the year.
