The Flash is ready to kick things off with the season 6 premiere this Tuesday, Oct. 8. Here’s everything you need to know about The Flash season 6.
The Flash is all set to embark on its most crucial and important chapter yet, one that has been teased since the series premiered back in 2014.
As the countdown begins for the Arrowverse’s ultimate event Crisis on Infinite Earths with The Flash season 6 kicking off tonight, here’s everything we know about The Flash season 6 so far.
Last season, Team Flash faced off against The Flash‘s arch-nemesis Reverse Flash. In the season 5 finale, Nora West-Allen was erased from existence. The team is still mourning her as the new season picks up barely ten seconds after the ending of last season.
The final trailer for the season shows Barry (Grant Gustin) preparing himself and the team for the Crisis and maybe even a world without The Flash. We also see Jay and Joan Garrick from Earth-3 in the trailer trying to help Barry as he attempts to save the multiverse.
The trailer seemed very cinematic and promising and it looks like it belongs to a movie. If Eric Wallace truly delivers as the new showrunner this season, it might just be the series’ best outing yet.
The season will be divided into two parts like a graphic novel, according to showrunner Eric Williams. The first part will follow the events leading up to the Crisis and the second will follow the fallout from it.

Both parts will have different Big Bads. Sendhil Ramamurthy’s Bloodwork is set to be the first Big Bad of the season who will be introduced as Caitlin’s former colleague and a brilliant physician with a genius intellect, according to the trailer shown as San Diego Comic-Con.
According to Screen Rant, Carlos Valdes is not going anywhere and will remain a series regular. And we will be exploring his relationship with Kamilla this season.
As for Iris, we will finally be seeing a full-on journalism arc for her as she is going big with Central City Citizen and will even be getting new employees.
Barry is also getting a new Flash suit this year, along with Killer Frost. Frankly, both of these suits are magnificent beauties.
Killer Frost will be spending more time on the driver seat this year, according to Eric Wallace at SDCC. And yes, we will be following the tradition of getting a new Wells, too.
According to Screen Rant, Wally West will be making a return in the second half of the season to fight an iconic Flash villain alongside Barry. Sue Dibny will also be making an appearance.
Crisis on Infinite Earths
Barry is all set to vanish in the Crisis and Eric Wallace has revealed that the date in the newspaper is of December 10, 2019, which is also The Flash‘s part of the crossover and the final episode of Arrowverse’s shows for this year. The Monitor will be appearing in The Flash premiere to warn Barry of his fate.
