5 burning questions for The Flash season 6
The Flash season 6 premieres in on Tuesday, Oct. 8, but before we watch the season premiere, here are 5 burning questions that have kept us up in the night.
As The Flash season 6 premieres tonight on The CW, we have so many questions that have not been answered yet or been left for speculation and for us to theorize.
The first half of season 6 will be all about the buildup to the Crisis and will follow the events leading up to it. And in the midst of it all, we have selected five of our most burning questions that need to be answered in The Flash’s sixth outing.
Is Iris from the future?
In comics, Iris was born in the 30th century and her parents, Eric and Fran Russell were afraid that their territory would get wiped out because of a war they were in, during that time.
They were experimenting with time travel and they eventually decided to send their baby girl, Iris, to the past. In a recent interview with Flash TV News, showrunner Eric Wallace talked about adapting that storyline to TV. However, he was very vague about it but he still said that this is something that will happen in the show in the near future.
How will Cisco fit into the team now that he doesn’t have his powers anymore?
Cisco, without his powers, still kicked butt in season 1, and he will continue to do so with his wit and genius intellect. But, he has been a significant superhero in Central City for quite some time now. And the show has come so far from the good old days that not being meta seems odd for him now. Although with Iris leaning more towards her career as a journalist this year, Cisco should definitely get his rightful place as the leader of the Team Flash.

When will Sue Dibny make her first appearance?
In the closing minutes of season 5, we see Ralph picking up a case file that had the last name “Deardon” on it. Comic fans must know that the show was referring to none other than Ralph’s wife in comics, Sue Deardon. Hartley Sawyer has teased us that we will be meeting Ralph’s endgame this year and it’s just a matter of time before we see this iconic comic book storyline come to life.
Will Nora be back?
While it doesn’t seem like Nora is going to be back this season, it is totally possible that Barry and Iris will have another kid somewhere down the line, and Jessica Parker Kennedy can easily return as some other version of Nora or an entirely different child altogether. Showrunner Eric Wallace recently teased that there will be some huge hints about Nora in the first half of the season, according to Collider.
Will Barry vanish in the Crisis?
Eric Wallace did reveal that according to the future newspaper Barry will vanish during the night of December 10, 2019, which is also the date for The Flash part of the crossover.
While it seems like the crossover is probably gonna end with some sort of cliffhanger where Barry vanishes but somehow comes back in the remaining two episodes airing in January where Oliver eventually sacrifices himself in his place. There is still a 100 percent chance that Barry might actually vanish, and Wally will probably take over as The Flash.
