15. 101 Dalmatians

Could you actually imagine having 101 dogs?? Dogs are great and cute and lovely, but 101 might be a problem. But that is not the case for Roger and Anita who after meeting with the help of their dalmatians Pongo and Perdita, are cool with having a lot of pups. At first, Perdita gives birth to fifteen new puppies. But they aren’t safe which eventually bring more dogs to the house.

That very night the one and only Cruella De Vil shows up and offers to buy all fifteen puppies. Roger declines, but Cruella gets her henchmen to do the job for her and steals the puppies. Frantically looking for their pups, Pongo and Perdita use the canine gossip line (this is totally a real thing) to ask for help from other dogs around London.

Not willing to let their children be lost forever, the couple go out and look for their puppies. But once they find them, they realize there are way more than fifteen dogs with them. There are 99 pups altogether and they decide to adopt them all.

But on their way home, Cruella spots them again. Fortunately, is thwarted by her own henchmen. Back home, Anita and Roger decide to keep all the dogs and through the money Roger received from his latest song, buy a larger house to keep all the puppies in.

101 Dalmatians originally came out in 1966 and has been a classic Disney film ever since. If you love dogs, a good story, and an over-the-top villain, you’ll definitely want to watch (or re-watch) this animated film when Disney Plus launches.
