Hocus Pocus has become a Halloween classic. If you’re searching for a way to watch it this October, look no more! Here are some ways to stream it.

When Oct.1 hits and Halloween nears, it’s very hard not to associate Hocus Pocus with the spooky month.

The movie is definitely a favorite of mine and I’m sure many of you are wondering where you can stream the classic Halloween film. Unfortunately, it’s not available on Netflix or Hulu, but you can find it on other platforms for a reasonable price.

We shared a few of the on-demand services where you can find the film below along with what it costs to stream:

If you have cable, Freeform will be playing it many times throughout October and back-to-back on Halloween. You can find the full schedule on the Freeform website.

And even though Disney+ won’t be launching until November 12, the movie will be available on the new streaming service. In the Disney+ trailer there’s a quick glimpse of Winifred Sanderson at the 50-second mark. Whether you’re in the mood to watch it this year after Halloween or want to hold off until next year, you’ll find it there.

If you need a refresher on what the movie is about or you’ve never seen it before (how?), check out the trailer below:

Hocus Pocus has put a spell on me from the very first time I watched it. My sisters and I have made it a tradition to watch Hocus Pocus every year on Halloween day. Even though we’re all young adults, it’s a movie that we’re always excited to see each year.

It’s true it can be cheesy at times, but it’s just too fun to watch that you can ignore it. Bette Midler, of course, rocks the role of Winifred Sanderson with her facial expressions, sarcasm and the way she dismisses (yet always needs the help of) her sisters.

I don’t even have to explain the awesomeness of the famous musical number, “I Put a Spell on You.” I sing along every time.

The movie always puts me in a better mood even though I’ve seen it so many times. It’s hard to make a movie that your audience will enjoy enough to watch it more than once. And the same goes for the jokes – it’s not easy to make you laugh at the same jokes but that’s what always ends up happening throughout the movie even though I know what’s coming.

Winifred, Mary (Kathy Najimy), and Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) are such a great trio. You can tell how the actors just went for it and added so much to their characters. The Sanderson sisters will never be forgotten!

Just for fun, here are some of my favorite quotes (all Winifred’s, no surprise):

  • “Oh look. Another glorious morning. It makes me sick!” Same, girl.
  • “I am calm!!” So relatable.
  • “[Go to hell]. Oh, I’ve been there thank you. I found it quite lovely.” Makes me crack up every time!
  • “Why was I cursed with such idiot sisters?” I ask myself that everyday… just kidding!

It may not be a scary, horror movie like most Halloween films, but you can’t help but get in the holiday spirit when you watch it. It’s a classic, you can’t have Halloween without some Hocus Pocus!
