The promos for Fear The Walking Dead’s season 6 finale have revealed that Virginia will lend a hand in clearing Humbug Gulch’s of walkers, but will it require Morgan’s group pay a heavy cost?
So far, the clips for Fear The Walking Dead’s season six finale have confirmed a few things. For one, the struggling survivors will clear John’s old stomping grounds of walkers to create a new home. And secondly, they’ll reluctantly ask Virginia (Colby Minifie) for her assistance to complete said task.
Warning! Spoilers ahead.
Even though Virginia behaves like a trustworthy person, she’s going to ask for something in return—probably at the most inopportune moment. It would be pretty shady for Ginny to ask the survivors in Morgan’s convoy to lend a hand while the main group deals with the walkers inside of Humbug’s Gulch, and it’s kind of expected at this point.
On the other hand, Ginny might take a page out of Negan’s book and kill someone in exchange for her help. Ginny knows her prospective employees are more strong-willed than others but killing one would definitely give them a reason to pause if someone considers rebelling. Janis (Holly Curran) is a prime suspect here since she holds Ginny partially responsible for her brother’s death.
Killing Janis would serve as a message to the group but for the shock factor to really sink in someone more integral needs to bite the bullet. Our thought is it could be someone close to Morgan, Grace (Karen David) maybe?

While Grace appears to be on her last leg, Ginny could still kill her off. Doing so would be extremely traumatic to Morgan (Lennie James), especially after he just opened his heart to someone. Grace rebuffed his advances in the prior episode but that doesn’t take anything away from Morgan’s character evolution.
Sadly, the reason we’ve singled out Grace is that she’s a liability to the group now. Ginny made her feelings known about people who can’t pull their weight and Grace fits that criteria. That doesn’t mean Grace is doomed but if Ginny does start removing the dead weight—no pun intended—Grace will likely be among those she deems unworthy.
