8. Fuller House
Premiere date: Late fall 2019
Despite the controversy, the show must go on! Fuller House was renewed for a fifth and final season early this year, but the show and its stars (particularly guest stars) made headlines that put the future of the series in question.
Whether you’re an old fan of the original sitcom, Full House, or not, you likely already know that the Netflix sequel follows the children featured in the ABC comedy original. The girls, sisters D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and their best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) are now adults with children of their own.
After the unfortunate death of her husband, Stephanie and Kimmy move in to help D.J. with her sons, the house, and just life! As adults, the trio forms an even stronger bond. Original cast members Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin have made several cameos. We doubt we’ll see Loughlin again, but do expect to see the other three.
Fans are worried, however, about how the series will run and if it will feel different since Jeff Franklin, the creator of both Full House and Fuller House is no longer the showrunner after one too many complaints were filed for his behavior.
The cast and crew have been hard at work preparing for the final chapter and last goodbyes. We fully trust the final season will be great regardless! Their excited to share it and we can’t wait to watch! They have promised they “saved the best for last.”
