11. Queer Eye: We’re in Japan

Premiere date: Nov. 1

If you want to take a break from crime dramas and intense thrillers, I highly suggest you watch Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! this fall. Those of you who are already fans of the reality series are already looking forward to this special from our favorite guys on Netflix.

The fourth season of Queer Eye premiered earlier this year, but this isn’t another season. Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! is a four-episode special that feature actress and model Kiko Mizuhara as the Fab Five’s guide around the beautiful Tokyo! We’ll also see a special cameo from comedian Naomi Watanabe.

Queer Eye is a lot of fun. Not only do we often find ourselves collecting fashion and interior design as we watch, but the Fab Five are genuinely fun! You won’t always be laughing, though, Queer Eye is almost always very emotional.

New to the world of Queer Eye? Here’s a quick intro: Antoni Porowski is a food and wine expert, Bobby Berk is the interior designer in the group, Karamo Brown is the culture expert, the fashion specialist is Tan France, and the grooming guru is Jonathan Van Ness. Who is your favorite? I always enjoy the interior designing more than the other parts of the makeovers.

Again, Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! Is not replacing a fifth season, it’s just a special. Season 5 is still happening and expected to premiere sometime in 2020. Catch up with all episodes as all previous seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
