Fear The Walking Dead season 5: What to expect from episode 15
By Paul Zuniga
The promo for next week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead hints at a major fight approaching. Continue reading for our breakdown below.
As expected, the penultimate episode of Fear The Walking Dead season 5 will build up anticipation for a grand finale. Between Virginia (Colby Minifie) unleashing hell and Morgan (Lennie James) trying to live again, it should more than meet expectations.
For now, fans curious about the season 5 finale should pay close attention to next week’s episode because in “Channel 5” the survivors will struggle to stave off the undead and the living, at the same time.
Warning! Spoilers ahead.
The reason we know it’ll be troubling for June (Jenna Elfman), John (Garret Dillahunt), and the others is they run out of gas. The promo for season 5, episode 15 shows the entire convoy on foot. Their big rig is seen on the side of the road while everyone walks alongside it.
What’s interesting about this particular development is Ginny let the group go with a tanker full of gas in “Leave What You Don’t”. Did she renege on her original agreement with Luciana (Danay Garcia)? She and her riders do appear to be making demands in the promo for “Channel 5”. Perhaps they’re no longer taking a gentle approach with these stubborn survivors. If they are, that could mean Virginia’s people are going to forcibly steal the gasoline back.
The bad news is the situation doesn’t seem to be improving either. Further glimpses at the promo reveal that their truck becomes surrounded by walkers at one point. Morgan will attempt to fight them off but the horde looks too large. Mind you, this image of him defending the convoy reminds us of Rick Grimes’ final showdown on the bridge and it doesn’t bode well for Morgan’s future.
While he is the show’s current lead, Morgan could, in fact, be on the chopping block. Both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead have proven themselves to be unpredictable when it comes to character deaths, giving reason to why we believe Morgan might be next. Hopefully, that’s not the case but fans should be prepared for such a shocker in any case.
