The movie Christopher Robin one of many live-action Disney movies to come to life in recent years. During the movie, we are introduced to the adult version of Christopher Robin, who had left his Hundred Acre Wood friends behind after being sent off to boarding school. The sense of wonder he had as a child and his friends are forgotten from the mix of his boarding school and the death of his father.
As an adult, he is overworked and stressed from the demands of his job and home life, and it is during this period when he reunites with Pooh who finds himself lost in London. Christopher Robin helps him find his way home where he also discovers that the rest of his friends such as Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore are all hiding out together. After reuniting with f his childhood friends, it takes some convincing to get them to believe that he is the real Christopher Robin, but he is welcomed with open arms once he proves himself.
This movie gives us a sense of nostalgia with Christopher Robin being reunited with his Hundred Acre Wood friends even when he has been jaded by the world. This movie reminds us that even as we grow up, we shouldn’t lose that spark that we had as children because the world just becomes a grayer place.
