The End of the F***ing World season 2 is coming to Netflix in November. Jessica Barden and Naomi Ackie of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker star in the new season.
We have good news about The End of the F***ing World season 2 to share!
Netflix announced The End of the F***ing World season 2 will be released on the streaming service in November 2019. The streaming network did not announce the official release date yet, but we know the month the new season will be available.
The streaming network shared the release news on Twitter, shared the first look at the new season, and announced a new cast member for the new season of the Netflix original series.
Below, you’ll see the first look at Alyssa, played by Jessica Barden, and TEOTFW newcomer Naomi Ackie. We don’t know much about her character yet, but this is huge casting news.
Ackie will star in the new Star Wars movie, Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker AND the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, according to Deadline. Those are two of biggest movies and shows in the works right now!

Deadline is reporting that Ackie will play a character named Bonnie in the new season. Bonnie has some connection to Alyssa, although it remains up in the air what that connection is and how it’s worked into the new season. Details are scarce right now, people!
Obviously, you’ll notice James, played by Alex Lawther, is not in the first look photos. We haven’t heard for sure if he will be in the new season. We assume he will be, but that remains to be seen. I’m guessing we’ll find out a lot more information as we get closer to the release date and see a few trailers for the new season.
For those who don’t recall, The End of the F***ing World is a Channel 4 show in the UK. Netflix is the global distributor, so the show will air on Channel 4 in the UK before it is released on Netflix around the world.
