In the third round of NBC’s comedy competition Bring The Funny, one group had the judges out of their seats with their performance. The question is: When will the sketch go viral?

In the Semi-Final Showcase of NBC’s Bring The Funny, The Chris And Paul Show took the stage to kick off the remaining rounds. They started off with a simple premise of Chris telling Paul not to eat the cookies he baked for sick children. What progresses from that point on can either be described as madness or utter brilliance—or perhaps it was a little of both—depending on how you look at it.

In it, Paul Valenti plays the culprit suspected of eating special cookies while Chris O’Neill is a costumed figure assisting. The problem is that it doesn’t take long for Paul’s imagination to get the better of him. His hunger for cookies becomes so strong that it physically manifests itself into a giant cookie. The two of them then enter into a weird dance together.

Once Paul begins dancing, the audience goes wild for him. He bears it all on stage, tearing open the front of his shirt with passion. Paul then begins rubbing big pieces of chocolate-chips into his chest, putting on a sexy striptease for audiences. Oh yeah, he’s also dancing to John Legend’s song “All Of Me” during this performance. The song being of some significance since Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen is on the judge’s panel.

The sketch only gets better as the Giant Cookie reenters the frame with a jar of milk in hand. Having already seen Paul envelop himself in chocolate and pieces of cookie, the audience knows what’s coming before it even happens. And just as expected, Paul gets showered with milk.

Mind you that while they’re performing, Jeff Foxworthy, one of the judges, gets up on their desk and starts beating on it with his fists. He’s laughing so hard from Chris and Paul’s performance that he can’t control himself. Chrissy Teigen and Kenan Thompson are laughing just as hard so viewers know this is a remarkable performance.

There is one downside to Chris And Paul’s sketch—it can only be watched in this week’s episode of Bring The Funny. It’s plenty accessible as the NBC series is available to stream on NBC’s home site and Hulu, but if the clip were uploaded on its own, Chris and Paul’s cookie sketch would undoubtedly go viral.

The reason we know their sketch was that good is it earned them a spot in the finale. Every other competitor brought their A-game and performed equally well but the Chris And Paul Show outdid them all with their interpretive dance piece about cookies.
