Of course, as fans know, The Ranch follows the lives of the Bennett family on their fictional Iron River Ranch in Colorado. When Colt Bennett (Ashton Kutcher) returns after a 15-year attempt at football stardom, the family’s dynamics shift as he starts to learn the ropes of running the family business. Throughout the series, the family squabbles will themselves and fellow ranches, and the series tracks their personal lives, including Colt and Abby’s (Elisha Cuthbert) marriage and adventures in parenthood with their daughter Peyton.

The Ranch first premiered on Netflix in 2016 with its first 20 episodes and quickly garnered a seemingly small but mighty online following. The series, a throwback to the simpler old school style of sitcoms, holds a 70% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Over the course of its first three seasons, The Ranch has welcomed memorable guest stars such as Jon Cryer, Wilmer Valderrama, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Wendie Malick and Dax Shepard. There’s surely plenty more fun and surprises in store for the final run, which begins on Sept. 13 on Netflix!
