Disney shared the first official trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series The Mandalorian. The new trailer was released at D23 2019.

Disney has released the official trailer for The Mandalorian at D23 2019, and it looks amazing!

The Mandalorian premieres on Disney Plus on Nov. 12, 2019, and that’s the same day the streaming service launches. The series was created by Jon Favreau tells the story of a bounty hunter called the Mandalorian, who is played by Pedro Pascal, best known for roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos.

The series is not set in a time period we have seen explored in the universe yet. According to the synopsis, it takes place before the First Order but after the Empire. Along with that, we’ll also see new parts of the galaxy explored.

Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Taika Waititi, Emily Swallow, Nick Nolte, and Gina Carano star in the series, alongside Pascal.

The trailer for the series is incredible. There is only one line spoken in the whole trailer:

"“Bounty hunting is a complicated profession, don’t you agree?”"

Why, yes, I do agree! And, it makes for an awesome premise for a new TV show to build an entire streaming service around.

I’m excited about a lot of new shows coming later this year, including The Witcher, The Crown, Riverdale, and many more. Of all those shows, I think I’m the most excited for The Mandalorian! It just looks like everything I’ve ever wanted in a Star Wars series. The trailer is just incredible!

Luckily, I don’t have to wait too long to watch the series! As mentioned, the series premieres on Nov. 12, the same day Disney Plus launches. Let’s hope there are no big crashes!

If that’s not good enough Star Wars news for you, there’s more! Disney also announced the new Clone Wars series will be on Disney Plus in February. That’s good news, obviously, but it’s nothing compared to the next bit of news!

According to Deadline, Ewan McGregor will be reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new untitled Star Wars series! The Mandalorian is fantastic, clearly, but this might be the biggest news of the day from an incredible day of news for Disney Plus!

Stay tuned for more news about The Mandalorian and other Disney Plus news from D23!
