Stranger Things 3: Watch Alexei drink a Slurpee for 12 hours

Netflix shared a new video of Alexei from Stranger Things 3 drinking a cherry Slurpee on a loop for 12 hours. Check it out! Spoilers ahead for Stranger Things 3!

Missing Alexei, one of the unsung heroes from Stranger Things 3? As it turns out, Netflix is too.

According to a report from CNET, Netflix released a 12-hour video of Alexei, played by Alec Utgoff, drinking a Cherry Slurpee on a loop, and it’s incredible.

The video is set to “Cold Comfort” by the Orchestra Heinz Kiessling, according to the report.

The scene that’s played on a loop is from the 7/11 directly after Hopper, Joyce and Alexei walked through the woods to escape the Big Russian. Eventually, Alexei finds the 7/11, and Hopper buys snacks for the group.

After that, Hopper, then, commandeers a nice car, also known as The Toddfather, from one of the worst people we’ve met in Stranger Things history. Hopper claims Alexei is one of the most dangerous men in the world. The trio, then, drives to Chicago to meet with Murray Bauman, and then things really start to get real.

Why someone would want to watch this video for 12 hours is beyond me, but a few minutes of the video won’t hurt!

Netflix shared the video on Aug. 16, and currently, it has just more than half a million views. I don’t think that’s nearly enough views, not with how popular Stranger Things is and not with how popular Alexei is.

All this dude wanted to do was drink a Slurpee and have a little slice of Americana. Instead, he’s now dead at the hands of the Big Russian and his own government. Not cool at all!

Stranger Things has become the place on TV for incredible guest-starring roles and killing off those characters in heartbreaking ways. In the second season, fan-favorite Bob Newby, played by the beloved Sean Astin, was eaten by a pack of demodogs. Thankfully, Alexei didn’t get that treatment in Stranger Things 3, but it still hurt!

It’s a real bummer that Alexei won’t be in Stranger Things 4. Netflix has not officially renewed the show for season 4 yet, but production is scheduled to start this fall, according to multiple reports.
