New on Netflix this week: Rocky, Dear White People, She-Ra, and more

Looking for what’s new on Netflix this week? You’ve come to the right place! Because August starts this week, a ton of new stuff is being added to the streaming service. This week brings a famous franchise, new seasons of Netflix Originals, and a bunch of movies from all different genres.

Aug. 1 brings everyone’s favorite fictional boxer to Netflix. Rocky I through Rocky V will all be added to the streaming service making it the perfect time for a marathon! It’d be a good time to start playing Eye of the Tiger so you can get yourself in the right mindset.

If you’re more in the mood for some TV, season 3 of Dear White People will be hitting Netflix on Aug. 2. Based on the trailer, it looks like there will be a lot of changes. Joelle is still hosting her college radio show, but she’s switching up the way it’s formatted. And she isn’t the only one changing. It seems like everyone at Winchester University is trying out new things this season. They are growing up and realizing  their lives in college will not last forever.

But maybe you’re more in the mood for some animation? Luckily, season 3 of She-ra and the Princesses of Power will be coming to Netflix on Aug. 2. Hordak has his armies ready to fight the rebellion and start an all out war but the rebellion is not going down so easily. They have She-ra!

This season shows Adora finding a magical sword and becoming the legendary hero.  Now more powerful than ever, she joins the rebellion ready to fight Hordak. Unfortunately, many of her friends choose to fight on the opposite side. But that doesn’t mean she’s fighting alone. Check out the trailer for season 3 here:
